In the 1980’s our Wing Chun club was also into Escrima and Modern Arnis. Our approach was to just attend seminars where we either sank or swam. We didn’t have the chance to formally learn the art. Then one year we met a lady by the name of Elena Vally who was a dancer from the Philippines. She said that her whole dance group had to learn the basic Modern Arnis curriculum that came from Grandmaster Remy Presas and was taught in the Philippines for their Phys ed program. This gave us the foundation for our art. In this video we show her complete program.
